SUMMARY

The Process Mining Data Engineer is responsible for building and maintaining the data models and dashboards needed to conduct analysis. Data engineers design ETL pipelines to transform raw data into a format suitable for analysis. This involves data cleansing, aggregation, and enrichment, ensuring the data is useable for process mining consultants.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Look for opportunities to help business teams get more out of Celonis by being inquisitive and suggesting innovative ideas.
Experience as a Process Analyst SME in any domain with experience working on Celonis Customer project-based experience working as an Analyst or Data Engineer on Celonis implementations Celonis Analyst/ Data Engineer.
Build and maintain data pipelines that are used to transport data from a data source to a data warehouse / data lake.
Work side by side with data scientists and other specialists in the Digital Automation Office team to build custom data pipelines for data analysis.
Work closely with the AI Solution Architect to design the architecture of a platform.
Analyze and organize raw data (both unstructured and structured data)
Create transformation functions / jobs to transform raw data so it can be analyzed using analytics and process mining tools.
Work closely with business partners to understand their business requirements and where data fits in the entire data ecosystem for the organization.
Support data preparation activities for predictive and prescriptive modeling.
Participate in proof-of-concept activities to evaluate new products related to data engineering (cloud data platforms, ETL tools, etc.)
Lead data discovery and data exploration efforts of new data sources.
Recommend ways to improve data accuracy and quality.
Monitor the overall performance and stability of data pipelines.

DEVELOPER TASKS

Perform data transformations, develop analyses, and derive business cases.
Knowledge Models, Views, Analysis Creation, PQL
Experience with Object-Centric Process Mining, Data Model development, App development, Automation in Celonis
Knowledge of real-time business cases in Process Mining. Possesses knowledge over the Process Query Language (PQL) to build front end components to meet the requirements set by the business and create KPIs.
Strong understanding of SQL. The ability to create SQL scripts (customized) that transform, create, and capture necessary fields from the source systems to accurately map out processes.

Requirements

Min Education: Bachelor Finished

Requirements

Technical proficiency in backend technical architecture using Celonis.
Proficiency with SQL, PQL, Celonis analyses development, and SAP
Experience with Celonis value saving projects within a complex, global environment.
Certifications: Celonis data analyst and data engineer certification, or equivalent experience
Ability to demo and present results to business stakeholders.
Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts and their potential applications in process mining.
Proven critical thinking skills, business acumen and excellent oral and written communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
LSSYB/LSSGB is good to have.
Effective communication and organizational skills
Initiative-taking, customer-oriented and detail-oriented
Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP) is preferred.
